I wondered if anyone had seen Niall kirkpatrick who is a Cranial facial surgeon in the UK? I saw him recently on a TV programme fixing botched cosmetic surgery to the nose. I have seen many UK doctors some have said they can see nothing, others have got medical students to look at my nose because something was clearly wrong, but I was told nothing & I have been told I have secondary atropic rhinitis & empty nose. Its hit & miss & I have said before it's like dealing with the ENT mafiosa.
What is bizarre is that if nothing is wrong with my nose then there was nothing wrong with my nose prior to three surgeries as I had the same symptoms now as I had then but they are worse & I have additional symptoms which have really messed me up.
What I found interesting about the nasal surgery I watched on this programme was it seemed that as the nose was opened up, it was then additional problems were found to those originally identified from the initial consultation. Does that mean with a CT scan & routine endoscopy the true extent of the damage cannot be seen. Is this why some doctors say they are unable to see anything is wrong?
