Hello,
I've just recently had a CT scan of my sinuses done. Two days before the scan i came down with a cold which I thought might affect the CT scan giving a false picture as to whats going on in the sinus's.
Concerned, I rang the hospital to speak to the radiologist to find out if I should cancel and rearrange when the cold had passed. According to the radiologist it should not make any difference, however I'm not sure that I believe her. I asked her again at the time of the appointment, and again she said no problem.
Does anyone here know if a cold could lead to false readings on a sinus CT scan?
Many thanks
