I have an "extra" opening in my maxillary sinuses, and right now I've been advised to have the surgery that would connect this opening to the normal opening to prevent recirculation of drainage.
My question is - for anyone that has had this surgery, what sort of benefits did it bring? I seem to have an ever-growing list of problems, and I'm just wondering what sort of relief I can hope to get out of this procedure.
Thanks.
