OK, I understand that the resected turbinate won't grow back. That is very clear and why I was suicidal until I got on the depakote. I suppose it is best I just sit tight until I can go see Dr. Houser in May. Like I saud I haev seen a few ENT's here and I just get so much different information.

One ENT says that blood vessels do not incorporate into any material. And believes that the only permanent augmentation material is hydroxyapatite. This same dr. suggests I try a non-permanent filler before anything else like restalyne or cymetra. Which he states is not permanent and it seems that Dr. Houser supposes that it is only permanent if alloderm has been implanted previously.

Another doctor suggested fat and other things. They are both experts in the field. I now sought out the alloderm expert Dr. Costantino and have an appointment with him, I guess that I want his two cents.

I wonder if I ask these doctors that I am seeing about the alloderm weather or not they will be able to implant it. THey woudl make an incision and try to recreate the turbinate with alloderm. .

I get the feeling that one of the doctors is very precise and the other one is very holistic and sees the whole picture. To complicate matters the procedure caused my nasal valves to collapse, which requires another surgery and plastic surgery. Talk about screwed up.

I am thinking to go to the dr. here in new york and try the restalyne, being that it is only temporary to see if that can bring some relief until I can get some more information and time. It will be the end of eight months at that point but Dr. Houser doesn't seem to think that it will affect the natural healing process.

Does anyone have any suggestions or think that the filler may be a bad idea?

Thanks for the input
