Nose1; have you seen this lack of deep sleep, with lots of dreams, and constant waking up to be a common trend with ENS? Sleep is definitely a major problem with ENS. It is severe enough that Das told me at one point that he thought it was the worst part of ENS. I did respond to him that if one suffers from suffocation, then that is worse than sleep problems. In truth, I don't think that you can really talk about sleep and breathing issues as if they are independent. The breathing issues case distress while awake and cause sleep issues at night. Sleep issues cause daytime drowsiness and alertness issues My main point is that the sleep issue can be quite severe and is a very common ENS symptom. It is also common to wake up frequently during the night. I think the effect on dreaming is different for each of us. For example, when my symptoms were at their worst, I rarely slept well enough to dream at all. As I had some symptom improvement (and I still have ENS symptoms), I can dream at times but not as frequently as before. I wonder if you are not really dreaming so much but more experiencing something that is more like half awake and half sleeping. You are too tired to be fully awake but have enough sleep issues that you aren't really sleeping. So your mind is somewhat still active but you are on the edge of sleep. for the past two weeks it's been not stop dreaming and waking up all the time. also they are all nightmares. like my subconsious is trying to tell me something is wrong. I remember after injection I could go into deep sleep. bronco how many injections did you have?
