Hi, I'm somewhat new to the idea that I might have ENS. I had rhinoplasty in 2007, and I will probably give a more detailed story in another post. I have looked around the forums a fair bit, searching through old topics, trying to read as much as I can.

I think I'll have lots of questions, but for some reason I'm going to start with this. I was wondering if anyone with ENS has any or all of the following visible physical symptoms/attributes that I have:

Dry skin on face - to the extent that I get kind of facial dandruff
 - similar skin problem with hands, arms.
Facial acne (I'm 29 and it's not a normal kind of acne I got in my teens)
Brittle hair, falls out a bit.
Dandruff in hair.
Very veiny arms, hands.
Dry mouth.
Very low body fat.
Very pale complexion, including darkness under eyes.

I don't sweat on my face, ever.
I don't sweat very much on the rest of my body.

Circulation issues - feet very red after a shower.

Hard nails.

Nose: Very red in cold weather, tends to swell on certain days.

These are of course, all things that I didn't have before my surgery, and before all my nasal dryness/breathing issues started.

If anyone can relate to these symptoms or shares them, please let me know. I would like to see if it's possible ENS causes these, though at the same time I do realise ENS causes anxiety and certain symtpoms can be caused by anxiety.

Thanks for reading,

Joe

do you take hot showers? try taking cold showers.

but yea if you really do have ens it will affect everything. basically means you aren't getting oxygen to your brain. everything needs oxygen to function. when I started getting better my skin felt healthier. more bloodflow to extremities. feet very red after shower i definitely experienced that. was horrifying. same thing with hands being bright red. basically you aren't getting oxygen so EVERYTHING is gonna malfunction. you need oxygen. are you experiencing suffocation? is your quality of life good?did they touch your turbinate?
