I'd like to add that you can always argue that you learnd about the connection between your operation and your current symptoms just recently. The law states that the statute of limitation begins it's count only from the time you learnt about the connection.

Just wanted to add that it didn't work for me. I didn't find out until a year later what my doctor had done to me, but it wouldn't fly. They tried it and told me they were very sorry but they could not win my case. And I was only six months shy of the statute of limitations. And they are the same lawyers who had just won the case for, was his last name "Brown", not sure, don't remember. But they really tried.
