At the time, suing a doctor for ENS wasn't possible. I consulted a couple of lawyers. They wouldn't touch the case. I think it would be easier to sue today, but the statute of limitations is only 3 years in NY, so I'm out of luck.

Since 75 percent of my IT's were removed, Dr. Houser told me that it wouldn't be possible (3 years ago) to put implants in because there wasn't enough tissue to work with.

At that time, I had medical insurance. Unfortunately, the only medical insurance available to me at the job I currently have is HIP, which is not accepted by the doctors that I know who specialize in doing this sort of repair surgery. HIP is the most unpopular insurance among doctors that I know of.

Dr. Slavit, who is the ENT that I would like to see, does not accept HIP. Can't blame him for that. They have a bad reputation for paying.

Besides, there are no guarantees that augmentation surgery would help. I would like to try that cymetra injection method, but it looks like I have to wait for a chance to do it.
