It is important that you get in to see some ENT. You are completely speculating on what was done and what your situation is. Also, a septum does not deviate to cover up empty space. A septum is made of cartilage and for the most part will remain in the position the surgeon put it in. It could move if it was too weak because not enough cartilage is left or maybe because it got damaged from something like an external blow.
