It is a difficult process to understand exactly what is happening. This is why you really need a CT and an examination by someone knowledgeable. It could be what you are describing is a nasal valve collapse, it could be that your turbinates are still large and there is some kind of real blockage, or it could be that there is significant space and something like an implant could help. I know this is very hard for you but you cannot know what the anatomy is by looking in your mirror or stretching with your finger. It is a good sign that some things seem to provide an improvement so take some comfort with that and do your best to be patient for the next step.

well no one other ent has any info and no insurance so ct scan might not happen. will dr das examine me like you're saying. I noticed again today I felt great after I got out of the shower then half hour later I was back to normal. I can't help but be optimistic about the implants.

Did you pay for your procedure? What did you have done by you ENT? Too bad you don't have insurance. I managed to get my surgeon to order a CT because of my breathing complaints and nasal valve collapse.

Nose1 has given you good advice. Nose1 helped me alot when I first came here. I actually had my meltdown (reality setting in about ENS) about a month or more B4 I joined the forum. So, I had already grappled with the fact that I had "lost" my nose as I saw it.  I know from first hand experience that trying to figure out what is going on will drive you crazy. Wait for your examination and see what you are dealing with.

Yes, being optimistic will help you a great deal to get through this difficult period.
