I have mucus if I cry or sneeze, maybe more than there was. But it is mostly bone dry otherwise unless I use some ointment or oil, which puts a little moisture in. Sometimes it even runs a bit (which it did not 8 months ago), but my nose does not become moist. It still hurts. It becomes more dry and painful if I blow it out. One  Dr. I saw drew an anaology to chapped lips. I find it helpful to think about. I asked another Dr why I am so dry. He said I am too open and it is like a windtunnel that dries out the mucous. I also have a thick post nasal drip, so I guess there is mucus being made. I don't fully understand the process myself. Don't over think it. There is a wide range of how ENS presents and everyone is different. Wait till you get an opinion from Dr. Das and focus on your treatment.
