When I fell down and severely shatter my nose, I had surgery from 2 different doctors to fix it.

Doctor 1 (the horrible doctor who gave me ENS)
This doctor tried to fix my septum and also snuck in the turbinate reduction which destroyed my life.
- When trying to fix my septum, this doctor tried straightening it by removing pieces of my septum and hoping the end result would be straight. With him being a plastic surgeon, I thought he'd fix my septum using plastic, or at least know how to. Little did I know, the word "plastic" in plastic surgery or plastic surgeons is a huge overstatement of a term, perhaps even a lie. Well, after getting surgery by this doctor, my septum was even more crooked and even worse, which I thought was impossible considering my septum was already wedged to one side of my sinuses all the way. After talking to the doctor post-op, he said it was "pretty straight."

Doctor 2
Since I still couldnt breath out of my nose at all and my septum was wedged all the way against my side, I went to another ENT.
-Once I get to this new doctor, he orders a CT scan for me immediately. He told me a CT scan is the first thing any ENT doctor should perform on their patients, and he was right. When the doctor showed me the CT scan results, I was startled because my septum was beyond crooked, heck deviated in 3 different places. Talking back and forth with this doctor, he told me that my septum was one of the most deviated ones he'd ever seen (funny considering the other doctor said it was "pretty straight"). Talking over the solution for a few minutes, the doctor orders a surgery for me within the next 2 weeks and tells me he is going to rebuild my septum using a special kinda plastic in which hes trained in using and has been using for many many years.
2 weeks later, my septum is perfectly straight and I could breathe out of my nose. Heck, to prove how straight it was, my doctor gave me another CT scan and the results showed my septum was the defition of straight.

So from my experience, there are a few ENT doctors who are amazing, and the rest plain suck. I mean doctor 1 tried fixing my septum using one of the stupidest methods I ever heard of, heck it reminds me of playing the game JINGA. He hoped my septum would fall in place by removing piece by piece of my septum, what a moron. Doctor 2 was the definition of professional. He fixed and perfected my septum like it was the Mona Lisa.
