Dear Nose1,
My main issue is that dryness and some days pain. My turbinates appears to be normal in size. But the place where this ignorant ent cauterized my turbinates still looks pale in color.
Also i feel i am breathing unfiltered air. Ever since after this cauterization, my nose lost the ability to humidify and filter inhaled air and now it is impacting my lungs also.I am getting lung pain and  breathing difficulty in some days.

You have mentioned that, You have done Cymetra injection. Could you please tell me how you were doing after this injection ? Did this help to resolve dryness and filtering issue?
I am considering Cymetra injection. Since i have plenty of turbinates left, do you think this injection will be useful for resolving my dryness ?Have you experienced any side effects from this injection?
Could you please give me advice and  share your experience.

Thanks you so much

Well, a couple of points. First, the results from a Cymetra injection are different for different people. My biggest issue is suffocation, and for me there was not a big difference after getting the injection. It is possible that I had some healing over time, but I don't believe that it made a big difference for me. That said, I think for some people it can make a difference since it is very individual. Possibly if it closes up a little too much open space it can help with some dryness. I didn't feel a lot of difference during the cotton test, but for those that feel a significant difference during the test, the odds of a Cymetra injection helping are certainly higher.

But for me, I think it is more likely that PRP would have better results for someone experiencing dryness and pain. I think the PRP is better at healing the damaged tissue. I can say that so far I have received some benefit from the PRP in regards to breathing and as I am currently thinking about this I am realizing I definitely have had an improvement in pain. I am still in my journey of receiving PRP, so I cannot yet tell you what the final outcome will be.
