Yes predator, those panic attacks are quite common for people with ENS. Ive had several of those moments myself where I had to run into the bathroom and be alone from all the other people in my area. My heart would race faster and faster, but nothing I did would calm it down. I was in college for 6 months while I had ENS, but it got to the point where I had to drop out because my panic attacks were so dreadful for me. After 3 years now of having it, Im actually learning to cope with it and am probably returning to college this summer.

Since ENS affects our breathing so much, its really hard to calm oneself down. I know some people have posted some coping skills for this, one of which is meditation. Other ways of helping this are medications, but be very very careful, because Ive heard some of the calming down meds to be extremely addictive.

As a fellow person who suffers from severe ENS, I can tell you things will get better. Ive been fighting this disease for 3+ years now, and am finally learning to beat it.
