Thanks you two,

Shane your advice is logical, and i think is a part of answer, i think Nasal Sinus drip can be dry and irritate the muccosa and gums

Sean, i have understand but i have much doubt with irrigation because i think Irrigation can washed out the muccosa. And my turbinate doesnt swollen.

Ben

Ben you need to irrigate you nose, having ENS, means your nose doesn't work correctly, the mucos you produce, IF ANY, can stay there and become infectious. There's a big difference using irrigation with xylitol and and salt alone. use salt and xylitol. xylitol, I have problems with dryness, and xylitol irrigation keeps the nose wet. I don't do it every day, I do it every other day, to give my sinuses a chance to recover good mucus, but when I don't do it for like two weeks, my sinuses feel much worse. A lot of people here are against nasal irrigation and say it makes them more dry, BUT IF YOU USE XYLITOL YOU WILL FEEL MORE MOIST, TRUST ME. salt and water alone does make me more dry, but when I mix xylitol it is much better for a day or two.

I would advise you to make a regular mix of nasal wash and add 1 teaspoon to 250 cc and 2 teaspoons to 500 cc. you can increase the amount over time if it doesn't irritate your nose too much...If I use too much xylitol it irritates my nose.

Dryness of the nose CAN be managed and even improved over time. BUT YOU HAVE TO DO THE WORK. exercise, good diet. exercise. if you have money acupuncture. the better you keep your remaining mucosa, the more chance it has to heal better. the sooner the better.

Do you irrigate you nose?
