You have to fight it anyway you can. I am in the same boat but after having implants 6 weeks ago I must say they really help. I was sleeping very little but after implants sleeping has been gradually improving, let´s hope it stays that way. Other symptoms have also improved. Still feel pretty bad for the dryness and the frustration that a doctor could do this to me for life. I just moved to a mider climate and more humid and my throat is better. In the future I will try to do accupunture on myself ´cos I cannot afford to pay for it. So, what I mean is we´ve got to accept ir fight it and hope that one day cellular therapy that is already being used with success in hearts and livers can be used in turbinates

Jabato,

You are right. One piece of advice is to let go of the frustration about the doctor doing that to you for life. There is good reason that you are frustrated, but hanging on to it is only going to make it harder for you. Instead, focusing on what you need to do to improve and believing that you can improve (which I see from your posts) will help the most.
