I lost 10% of IT on both sides. The cotton test helped in some degree. The test was only in minutes. It is hard to say for the long term results of this test.

I don't know if I amgoing to have implant or not. The results are variable and unpredictable from my understanding. I probably just bear with my symptoms although the symptoms are strong.

The more important is the nerves. If nerves do not come back, the ens symptoms won't go away, no matter how much IT is left. The implant won't help regrow nerves. It just direct the airflow to intact nerves.

Have you been more than one year after your surgery that damaged your turbinate?

I had the turbinate coblation over a year ago, yes.

Can nerve damage cause the airflow issue?

It feels real weird every time I inhale..the air is too low in my nose..I thought that could only come from too little mass? That s my problem.

I thought that could only come from to little turbinate-area substance.

I also had my turninate bones outfractured.

I will look into having them infractured back to thier original position as a way to treat this problem. If this surgery is doable, I will have it at the end of the year or so.

(I have to fix a separate breathing problem first)

I think that might be a safer more predictable step before any implant.

thank you for your help
