I lost 10% of IT on both sides. The cotton test helped in some degree. The test was only in minutes. It is hard to say for the long term results of this test.

I don't know if I amgoing to have implant or not. The results are variable and unpredictable from my understanding. I probably just bear with my symptoms although the symptoms are strong.

The more important is the nerves. If nerves do not come back, the ens symptoms won't go away, no matter how much IT is left. The implant won't help regrow nerves. It just direct the airflow to intact nerves.

Have you been more than one year after your surgery that damaged your turbinate?

but i am concerned since I only had relatively little of my turbinates removed that the implant could backfire..

Perhaps it could damage my turbinates?

Perhaps they will grow back, and an implant would wreck any chance of that happening?...
